No time for building?

I have always been involved in some form of engineering either as a job or a hobby, having studied mechanical engineering at university my passion moved to cars, and for three years I raced modified saloon cars and restored classic cars.

A few years ago Ali Machinchy kindly gave me an opportunity to build a jet for him, I had convinced him that I was confident enough to do so and my first "build" was a built up wing BVM Mig-15, quite a project I later found out! Since then I have continued to work closely with Ali on further projects and spend most of my "free" time building.

I am always on the lookout for interesting build jobs, so if you have a jet build project gathering dust and you need a builder why not drop me a line to discuss it?

My experience varies widely from 'standard' builds such as the BVM Bobcat and T33, to more complex projects that have involved modifications like the big HT Modellbau PC21 with working cockpit MFD's and HUD's and a Skygate Hawk with fully ducted bypass system and smoke tank.

2011 sees several 'interesting' projects underway, two of which could involve a guiness record attempt, others less technical but nonetheless interesting - information on these will be posted soon.
