The 'new' DCAT has been designed from the ground up. Manufactured from anodised aluminium which is 5 axis cnc'd and high quality polycarbonate tube.
The DCAT is a 'dual cell air trap' and comprises of a smaller diameter tube sitting centrally inside the larger outer tube, the central pickup is unrestricted to prevent any fuel restriction.
If air from the main tank is introduced to the DCAT is naturally finds its way to the topmost area of the DCAT depending on the orientation at any given time. As the air moves around in the outer 'cell' is is prevented from passing through the smaller central tube and therefor is kept clear of the pickup point.
If air enters the inner cell is is allowed as a result of the design to bleed back into the outer cell almost immediately.
The design uses no glue and can be dismantled totally to allow any servicing. Chrome 'high flow' barbs are supplied as standard but these can be substituted by the owner for other fitting types if required.
The DCAT-M is mounted via two special ring supports which can be positioned to allow full 360º flexibility making installation simple and reliable.
The DCAT-M is suitable for use with 0-220N turbines
